Austrian body-builder Arnold Schwarzenegger has urged people to turn vegetarian - at least part-time - to save the planet. When asked whether aspiring body-builders could achieve a body like The Terminator on a vegetarian diet, he told BBC that many successful body builders were vegetarian.

First vegan fish and chips shop opens in Australia

Bliss and Chips, an all-vegan fish and chip shop, opened its doors [recently], marking Sydney, Australia's very first vegan seafood restaurant. Owner Liss Harry spent three years perfecting the ingredient list and menu, which includes many gluten and GMO-free options. The brand-new restaurant is already a hit with locals, who are flocking to the eatery and flooding social media with photos of their cruelty-free meals.

Having become dismayed at the way in which factory farmed animals were treated, Bob Corris decided that the only way to eat meat, without having a guilty conscience, was to raise them and kill them himself. Despite going all out to give the pigs the best life possible, his private thoughts revealed in his journal, and eventual decision to go vegan show that the reality behind 'humane farming' is not as the industry would have us believe.
